Fall from Grace

A moment in your life, where you may feel like everything is going right. You are designated on a path to success. It feels like Universe is conspiring to give you what you want. That gets you equally motivated, and the motivation turns into a positive feedback loop. A cycle from heaven.
Little by little things starts to get better. Through determination, discipline, and sheer desire, you finally achieve what you craved. This is the point where everything starts to fall apart.

A quote:

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.

Now you look back at your life and see how hard you worked to achieve what you have now. A sense pride brings joy to your heart, you look into the mirror and say to yourself, "You did it." Slowly and steadily that pride turns into vanity. We feel the need to reward ourselves for working so hard as a celebration. We feel a great sense of dopamine rush gushing through our brain. We want to extend the celebration a little further, a day at a time, until we realize we're trapped, we're addicted. For many of us, we don't win a million dollar lottery or summon generational wealth. Infact, this success is just a small milestone in a long and treacherous journey. There's still a long way to go. A lot more to survive, A lot more to suffer.
And at this point, there's no going back. We justify inaptitude to control ourselves by the success we had achieved. Deep down we know that not doing what needs to be done will result in undoing of whatever we had achieved in the past. Infact, result us to spiral downwards towards our own doom. A negative feeback loop, a cycle from hell.

I have felt this self-destructive phenomenon and it's impossible to break through. You feel trapped, helpless, and immobilized. I barely managed to get out of it after facing a majestic setback. However, some sets of actions are irreversible and some events can't be undone.
It can cost us our life and whatever success that we were destined to achieve. There's a saying,

Be humble or Be Humbled

We must remember that

we are not the center of the universe

and

The world doesn't revolve around us

. The sooner we learn this, the better it is for all of us.
At this point, we must acknowledge the true significance of Discipline, One of the most underated human trait. People may believe that the one's who are disciplined are docile or submissive, but infact they are some of the strongest people out there, who are destined to achieve the heights of success that humanity can ever achieve.

"Be Disciplined, Be humble"
